I had to rush from Eastwood to Greenbelt for the 1st ever Philippine Blogcon last Monday. Driving from QC to Makati at 6 PM on a rainy Monday afternoon is not pleasant! :) James, Jenny and Sorsi (see her Friendster blog hehe) from Globe Innove were the best hosts! Sorsi will be the next Xiaxue! :)
I thought the raffle after our presentations was the real highlight of the night (Jayvee, Abe and Noemi and I had a few minutes to share some blogging info/tips). Everyone was up and moving after that.
I was fortunate to have witnessed Gec Chia’s shot against UE live. I thank the Lord for the chance to scream my head off inside Araneta again courtesy of the game-winning play by Doug Kramer/Norman Black against UST yesterday.

Feels like a rebirth of sorts. I’ve left the familiarity and routine of the company I’ve called home for the past four years. It’s a pain to leave friends behind, but the future holds so much promise that I’m sure our paths will cross again in the very near future.

Twas fascinating. I got to meet Abel, Mikey, Jolo, Ajay, Von, Janette (link loves to follow) and a lot of other Filipino bloggers. I also met some interesting people from FBM Software.
The organizers should hold these types of summits thrice a year! I absolutely will treasure the certificate they gave me.
