An Internet Marketing focused blog, with occasional musings about life on and off the battlefield by Marc Hil Macalua, SEO Philippines Founder and Philippine Marketing VP for US Auto Parts Network Inc.
It’s official. You can run contextual ads from a different ad network on the same page as Google AdSense (think Google AdSense and Yahoo! Publisher Network ads side by side). Read the rest of this entry »
I’ve been thinking about implementing an ad revenue sharing scheme on the new SEO Philippines forum. But comments like this scare the shit out of me :)
ive not installed this yet but before i do i just want to ask a question - excuse my ignorance if i have missed something.
from what i have read this is like a banner rotation scheme but for adsense. does this mean each person has to have an adsense account and if so how would i know whos adsense account i am clicking on. (highlights are mine)
Does anyone have real world stories about AdSense sharing and forums?
Has anyone tried out Blogkits? They’re positioning it as an AdSense alternative for the millions of bloggers who don’t have the necessary traffic to earn big from AdSense. If anyone does get in, be sure to post a review please. Check out the buzz around Blogkits or you can read the blog.

The Inside AdSense blog shows us an easy-to-implement script for A/B testing of two AdSense ad units. It’s running here now, to determine which 336×280 ad unit performs better for Macalua.com: with or without borders.
I guess now there’s no doubt that blending images close to AdSense units is an effective click magnet. Is AdSense adding that feature directly into the ad creation console? Google must be working double time to reach/surpass financial targets this quarter. This feature screams: I want more click profit.
Update: Guess this was first spotted waaaaaaay before this post by JenSense. Now you know how long I’ve been gone :)
If you’ve read through the Tuzhilin Report (yawn) by Dr. Alexander Tuzhilin, I know you’ll agree to this: sections 5 to 7 would make a nice handout for teaching PPC to newbies :)
Here’s more evidence that Google is really cranking up efforts to milk the AdWords cash cow for all its worth this quarter: “institutionalized” ad blending. Read the rest of this entry »
