Some highlights:
- I don’t drive like most people - overtaking four vehicles on a blind curve at night is something I would do.
- I hate being the last car in a group - I get impatient and frustrated when I can’t weave through traffic like the other cars.
- No swim, still fun - one can still enjoy the beach without getting wet.
- Video over photo - Rico wants to try out video; with a density of three DSLRs per 7 people, I think I want to try video out too.
- Ever After forever - the quintessential summer theme is back, with a vengeance; I can still bob my head to it no problem, but seriously, somebody needs to ‘invent’ a new summer song. I nominate The Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani featuring Akon.
- Manalo’s still serves excellent food at relatively the same prices after 2+ years.
- Law of Supply and Demand: pre-Holy Week rates: 1,500/night, Holy Week rates: 5,000/night, offpeak: 800/night.
- Mais con yelo con pinipig - the best.
