Interesting bike. Are you a Nicky Hayden Fan (or is your brother one)? The “69″ is quite unmistakable in MotoGP circles.

Good choice as far as the Yamaha R6 is concerned. I have the 06 Anniversary Edition and will not ride anything else. :)

Yeah he’s the Hayden-Repsol-Honda fan, I’m with Rossi :) got a picture of your bike? Bike prices here are insane. A pre-owned R6 (2004 model) can go as high as $8000 :(

Marc: Rossi rules indeed! :) Too bad he didn’t clinch the title this year. :( It would have been a clean sweep of the 4-stroke 990cc era for Yamaha (and for Rossi of course). I guess we’ll have to wait for the 800cc era (which is starting in 07) to do a clean-sweep, and hopefully Rossi will stay for the entire era and not have some crazy ideas about being an F1 driver. :P

$8k for a 2004 model? Wow. But it’s not that bad (although it is a bit on the high price side). In the US a clean, slightly modded ‘04 R6 can run for about $6k.

Those are old pictures, taken around May of this year. I’ve done a ton of things to it since then, adding some Galfer steel-braided brake lines, Galfer rotors, and a few other bits and pieces.
