Want a fast qualitative assessment of how popular your SEO blog is with search engines? That’s Danny Sullivan’s new racket.
With almost every SEO blogging about Danny Sullivan’s departure from SEW and SES, “danny sullivan” the keyword can be used as a very basic measure for your blog’s SERP strength. The top two blogs out of 8.2M pages are Lee Odden’s TopRankBlog (#16) and Matt Cutts’ blog (#17). The SEW Blog and Danny’s blog should be excluded from the rankings for obvious reasons.
How’d this blog fare? I’m at page 13, position #130. So what about you? Where are you at?

I just happened to notice a query for “Danny Sullivan” in our blog web logs and it was you! :)
This is an interesting test of a blog’s search engine presence, but I think most blogs get their “juice” from the RSS feed readership.
