Things to Do Before Davao
Posted (Marc) in SEO on July-21-2006

I’m rushing posts (if you can call 2 posts in as many days rushing). Heading out to Davao City in a few hours for a good friend’s wedding and some much needed R&R with the Sharmskee. Would love to meet some of the Davao-based SEO PH characters like Dennis. My contact number’s on the sidebar. Hope to see Pag-Asa, Mt. Apo, the Pearl Farm and you guys in a few hours. We’ll be at the Marco Polo Hotel.

I know there’s also the durian thing, but what else is there to see in Davao? Any good historical places to visit?

100 Meters After
Posted (Marc) in SEO, Corporate Shit on July-21-2006

After buying 100 meters of telephone wire to hook me up direct to the telephone post, a new LAN card and X visits and CS calls from and to PLDT, we finally got my PLDT myDSL connection to work. Yes it’s still sucky. I’m getting a second connection as we speak. Hope Globelines is listening.

That Many?
Posted (Marc) in SEO on July-15-2006

Was resume hunting on JobStreet’s Resume Bank and did a very relaxed search for [seo] and got around just 241 SEO-optimized resumes. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

The Price of Fame?
Posted (Marc) in SEO on July-14-2006

I mean SERP fame. After receiving a couple of introductory text messages from a certain Robin, I finally replied saying that I’m male and that hindi kami talo. He texted back with this:

Akala ko kc kw c diana zubiri eh, naghanap aq s internet at ang # mu nkta ko. Brod, may alm k bng # ng mga artista?

I should really start dummy-proofing that Diana Zubiri landing page. I really wanted to send him Abe’s mobile but something inside told me to not mess with a blue brother :)

For those looking for other Diana Zubiri crazed fans to converse with, here’s Robin’s number: 09287402473
