As you all know, the second stage of the Jagger update is well underway. GoogleGuy gives confirmation that the updates will first be reflected at the 66.102.9.x datacenters first:
McMohan, good eyes in spotting some changes at 66.102.9.104. I expect Jagger2 to start at 66.102.9.x. It will probably stay at 1-2 data centers for the next several days rather than spreading quickly. But that data center shows the direction that things will be moving in (bear in mind that things are fluxing, and Jagger3 will cause flux as well).
With Jagger2 in full swing and Jagger3 just around the corner, SERP rankings will likely be “unstable” for the next few weeks. For now though, things are looking very rosy for the two SEO experiments we started.
- Ang Panday blog - number 2 ranking for [ang panday] and number 5 ranking for [panday]; the Panday SEO Recipe PTB post and Abe’s Panday site at Blogsome are also on the first page at number 9 and number 10 for [ang panday].
- The Quest for Diana Zubiri post - number 3 ranking for [diana zubiri].

Kates, the funny thing is these techniques aren’t secret magic voodoo spells. They’re just old school SEO things: content and linkages. Anyone can do it.
Besides [ang panday] and [panday] are relatively easy keywords to position. The real tests are for keywords like [philippines] and [filipina]. That’s something we can do as a group. Hmmm pwedeng project ng SEO Philippines!
Migs, which Yahoo! were you searching on? I checked the main index at http://www.yahoo.com, wala pa sya. The page is ranking at asia.yahoo.com/philippines though.
