I miscalculated, again.
Shallow: with my fuel gauge malfunctioning, I left for home Monday night. Just a few meters from Shaw, the engine sputters. Restart. Ignition. Sputter. Restart. Dead. Oh shit. Fast forward to the end…Glen and Jill save the day. As bribe, Metrowalk dinner and after-dinner coffee at Starbucks. Good friends these two are. Good friends. No, I won’t tell them where you two were when I called.
Not so shallow: it’s fun to see people enjoying their stay in the office considering the work environment they’re exposed to these days. I hope the messageboard props their spirits up just a little bit longer.
Somewhat deep: with no promises to hold on to, the group is running on pure adrenaline. Requirements are being met. Expectations are being surpassed. Records may well definitely be broken soon. I know it’s too early to tell, but from what I see now, I know I won’t be disappointed.
Pics from that misadventure:

Friends are always happy to help….sometimes too happy :)

Friends also make sure they capture everything on film…err disk.

That’s me sweating.

Still sweating…and swearing

Starbucks booty!
