Last September 4, the team was at the Steel Mill site in Novaliches to participate in the Honda-sponsored event. Cousin Cha was organizing the event for Honda, so why not make it a family affair? I brought my two other cousins from Bataan to see the game. My brother, Caimera was also there but opted not to play. Sleep deprivation will make you do that.
There were some skirmish games but the highlight was the 5 vs 5 “speedball” event. We formed our 5-man squad and moved up the ladder, all the way to the final match. Well the championship game was more waiting than fighting, with the body count system in place. We lost the game, and I blame myself, I think I could have done more than just hold the left flank. What is it with airsoft? In real life, I usually venture out and do whatever I want to do. In airsoft, I rarely do that. Is it because one’s actions directly affect one’s team? Probably. I’ll learn to seize the moment next time. What have I got to lose anyway?
Stole a few pics from Tintoot’s gallery. Tin, hope you don’t mind.

More pics from that game here. For the best philippine airsoft pictures, go to Toot’s site.
